The Slow Mo Guys, famed for their slow-motion recordings, visited Caltech
this time to use the quickest camera in existence. What did they
specifically want to shoot? The speed of light is 10 trillion frames per
second.
They often employ superb cameras, but to put things in perspective, those
cameras are still 20 million times slower than this one from Caltech.
Together, they made an effort to measure the speed of light. Picoseconds and
femtoseconds are used to measure the speeds. We can see why the Slow Mo Guys
are thrilled with their latest endeavor.
